Shahrukh Khan's fresh face advice to Vishal's next!: Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘2 States’, which is going to make a big screen entry in Bollywood, has now got new hero, new director and may be a fresh heroine too! Initially, when Sajid Nadiadwala was the only producer for the film, Siddharth Anand was supposed to direct the movie with Priyanka Chopra and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.

Later Saif opted out of the project and Shahrukh Khan entered the scene with the dual role of a lead hero as well as of a co-producer.

Now, the film will be directed by Vishal Bharadwaj of Kaminey fame. When Vishal got the project, he fled to Berlin, where SRK and Priyanka was shooting for Don 2. Both of them were impressed with Vishal’s narration and agreed to be a part of the project.

However, things changed when SRK returned home in Mumbai. He went to meet Vishal and said that Priyanka will not be suitable for the role as the story demands a fresh face. The director also agreed and thus Priyanka was out of the film.

Now, they are in search of a fresh talented face, who can do justice to the role. Well, Priyanka has already done two films with King Khan so she should not mind on this decision. It will be interesting to see who becomes lucky to get an opportunity to share screen space with Shahrukh in 2 States.

Shahrukh Khan in Vishal Bhardwaj's romantic project Chetan Bhagat’s another celebrated book is going to be made into a film. His recent novel Two States will be adapted for a romantic film to be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj with Shahrukh Khan in the main lead.

Yes, you are reading it right. SRK and Vishal together for the first time and guess who is producing it, SRK’s friend-turned-foe Salman Khan’s good buddy Sajid Nadiadwala. SRK has not been seen in a romantic film after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and his female fans across the world were waiting for news like this.

To adapt Two States was always in the pipeline for Sajid Nadiadwala; earlier it was planned that the movie will have Priyanka Chopra and Saif Ali Khan and will be directed by Siddharth Anand. May be the producer was in two minds as Siddharth’s last release Anjaana Anjaani was a dud at the box office.

For those who haven’t read the novel: it is about a boy and a girl studying in an elite MBA college. The guy is from Punjab and falls in love with the girl who belongs to Tamil Nadu. Naturally, the two have problems getting married as they belong to two extreme different cultures. It’s Chetan’s own love story; his wife Anushka is a South Indian.

Sajid has bought the rights for its adaptation. SRK has heard the script and he has ‘loved’ it. Who will be cast opposite SRK? There will be a new girl.
