Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4: Rani, Vidya to promot 'No One Killed Jessica': Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4 is getting to be one of the most interesting dance shows on the telly.

The dance reality show that is aired on Sony Entertainment Television is creating a great platform to all the contestants as they are able to explore their talents not only in certain patent dance moves but also in very experimental dance forms.

The episode on Monday was a tad bit sad for the evicted contestant Renuka Shahane and her partner, but apart from that it was a mind blowing experience to see the other contestants shaking their legs in almost a varied form of dances that has never ever been seen before.

The episode had Sushant and his partner mesmerizing the audiences with their amazing dance moves in a dance form called the Chau, which was inspired from a movie. The two had reportedly called in a professional to teach them the right moves as the show organizers had allowed anyone who wanted outside help to get it in this particular round. They scored a perfect full on the score board with the best dancer of the day title.

The other contestant who made a distinct mark was Ragini. She along with her partner were excellent in a Tollywood number and most deservingly were awarded a full 30 on 30 by the judges along with the best dancer of the day award too.

The highlight of the episode was Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan’s presence.

The two had come to promote their forthcoming film No One Killed Jessica, and were astounding with their moves too. Rani Mukherjee got really mesmerized with Madhuri Dixit and declared that she was a self proclaimed fan of the great actress.

According to reports, Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan engaged in a passionate lip-lock at a stage event held in the recent past.

The videos doing the rounds on the net are evidence of the fact that the earlier warring actresses Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan have kissed and made up, literally! Ever since the promotional clips of their upcoming film together No One Killed Jessica was released on television, people started praising Rani Mukherjee, considering that her character of a journalist is a more powerful role compared to Vidya Balan’s role of Jessica’s real life sister Sabrina Lal. And it was this fact that was apparently giving Vidya Balan sleepless nights, also the root cause of her cat fight with costar Rani Mukherjee.

However, the fight is a thing of the past now. Both actresses are professionals in real life and thus they agreed to take that extra step to promote No One Killed Jessica well. Rani Mukherjee talks about her role in 'No One Killed Jessica': Rani Mukherjee is coming back with a bang. After a slew of weepy roles, the actress steps into the shoes of a fiery, foul-mouthed crime reporter in No One Killed Jessica which is slated to release on January 7.

The 32-year-old actress said that by playing the role of crime reporter she realized how difficult and risky is the job.

“Through my character in the film I am sure people will respect and salute them for the kind of job they do. It is very fascinating profession where the basic job requirement is to be fearless and brave. I feel great that I am portraying the role of a crime reporter,” Rani is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Stressing on the risk faced by crime reporters, Rani added: “When we see crime reporters on TV we do not understand how difficult and risky their work is. I think in a day-to-day life, crime reporting is more risky as they are unaware of what assignment they would go for. They go to weird and dangerous places. Especially for girls it is tougher.”

The film, directed by Rajkumar Gupta, is based on the murder of model Jessica Lall in 1999 by Manu Sharma, son of a Haryana politician, in a Delhi night club. It has Vidya Balan playing Jessica's sister Sabrina, who fought the case to get justice and Rani plays a journalist in the movie.

“The very fact that I am playing a journalist in the film is also one of the reasons why I am part of it. It is the first time that media is shown in a powerful light in the movie,” Rani said.

No One Killed Jessica Movie Trailer: Rani and Vidya's New Look: No One Killed Jessica is a poignant, hard hitting and also an entertaining film. Made on a small budget with two of the best actresses of the country, Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherjee, the film is centered on the infamous Jessica Lal murder case.

Director Rajkumar Gupta who earned recognition with his film Aamir got inspired to make the film on Jessica’s case from a headline in a national newspaper.

He believes that the courtroom trial of the case was a very important event in contemporary India, signified by the society that rallied around for justice for Jessica who was shot dead point blank by the son of a rich politician. The film is Rajkumar Gupta’s dramatic interpretation of the entire Jessica Lal case.

Rani plays a passionate reporter Meera in the film, and Vidya is Sabrina, sister of Jessica, who, with her undaunted spirit, continued to fight to seek justice for her dead sister. Recently the film’s promo released, and indeed it was a thrilling watch. No One Killed Jessica is releasing on January 7.

Rani Mukherjee's middle finger censored in No One Killed Jessica: The promo of No One Killed Jessica has run into trouble with the Censor Board over a scene in which Rani Mukherjee shows her middle finger.

The board found the promo unsuitable for screening on television channels solely because of the scene that shows Rani’s character inside an office, brandishing her middle finger to someone. The film’s director Rajkumar Gupta was reportedly told by the board to blur Rani’s middle finger.

Though Gupta thinks the board’s demand is unfair, he has no option but to blur Rani’s finger or delete the scene altogether.

The movie has Rani playing a headstrong journalist who takes up the case of Jessica Lal murder after the acquittal of the prime accused. Rani’s character also smokes and uses foul language in the film.

'No One Killed Jessica’ Movie: Vidya Balan, Rani Mukherjee First Look: From the director of critically-acclaimed movie Aamir comes the film No One Killed Jessica which is based on the murder of model Jessica Lal.

Director Rajkumar Gupta has got two talented actresses for his movie: Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherjee.

Vidya’s character is close to Jessica’s elder sister, Sabrina Lal, while Rani plays a news reporter. The whole movie is shot in Delhi. According to the director, the title of the film No One Killed Jessica is inspired from a Times Of India headline which came in the year 2006, when the accused in the controversial murder case were acquitted by the lower courts which lead to nationwide protests. And after that the case was reopened.

The main accused in the murder case was sentenced to life imprisonment and on 19th April 2010, the Supreme Court of India reaffirmed the life sentence for the guilty.

The film which will release on January 7.
