Kate Gosselin: Salon Sexy

Kicking off her week with some pampering, Kate Gosselin was spotted hitting up a nail and tanning salon this morning (July 12).

The “Jon and Kate Plus 8” babe looked cute in a casual summer dress as she carried her coffee past the paparazzi.

Last night, Kate’s new show “Kate Plus 8” showed Gosselin and her eight kids gearing up to have their own chicken farm.

Kate explained, “I buy four, five, or more dozen eggs a week. That’s it, we’re getting chickens. The kids were willing to carry pieces [of the coop] and in no time all of those pieces were in the field. These are moments that make me very happy. The kids were suddenly very willing to participate … It was a family event — we’re putting together our chicken coop.” (Celebrity Gossip)

I guess this is one 'Dancing with the Stars' habit that Kate Gosselin can't break! Even with the 10% tax recently added, the reality star decided to hit up the tanning booths to work on her color a few days after the 4th of July.

I know a ton of people who are officially turned off from tanning due to the government increase. What do you think? Are you still tanning despite the tax? Or is 10% not really that big a deal? (imnotobsessed)

Kate Gosselin, Kids to Record Holiday Album?

We swear we're not making this up.

In what would likely rival Real Housewives star LuAnn de Lesseps for worst musical offering of the year, Kate Gosselin is looking to add singer to her resume!

The reality star is reportedly itching to deliver a Christmas album chock full of religious-y tunes - with her eight adorable kids on backing vocals no less.

"Kate is pitching a CD of holiday songs sung by herself and her kids," a record exec says. "She sees herself as a modern day Maria from The Sound of Music."

LOL. Wasn't Maria really nice, though?

"Don't be fooled," a friend of Kate's adds. "Kate sees herself as a brand. She knows her 15 minutes are not going to last forever and wants to make the most of it."
